The NET Honours Class of 2022 includes 15 new voting categories and has added the Breakout Actress of the Year award to its list to recognise the great work of creatives across the industry.
NET Honours focuses on recognising achievers in the entertainment industry through a thorough analysis of online audience search, consumer interest, social media interactions and search trends on Netng’s website, social media platforms and other related channels.
For the past 12 months, these actresses have ventured into the limelight with their outstanding performance on projects across Nigeria.
Genoveva Umeh is popularly known for her character Timeyin in the blockbuster movie ‘Blood Sisters‘. Her acting and delivery in the thriller series earned her an outstanding amount of fans in record time.
The AMVCA8 winner of the trailblazer award, Teniola Aladese, is a movie producer and actress who got mainstream success in acting after featuring in the 2021 film, ‘Superstar’. Before ‘Superstar’, she was featured in movies like ‘Loving Amanda’ and ‘Dry Fish’.
On her part, Segilola Ogidan is a British-Nigerian award-winning actress known for her role in the 2021 romantic-comedy movie ‘A Naija Christmas’. She has also featured in films like ‘Tainted Canvas’ and ‘Mona’, among others.
Ego Nwosu is a Nollywood film producer and actress known for her roles in the 2021 movies ‘Volcano’ and ‘Dysfunction’ and, more recently, her 2021 movie ‘Fine Wine’.
