The Guardian UK’s website has listed Nigerian acts M.I, Ice Prince, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage in an ‘Eight Afrobeats
artists to listen to’ article highlighting Nigerian-Ghanaian artistes who are currently doing well in the African music scene.
Other artistes who make the list are Ghana’s Sarkodie, Efya, E.L and Mista Silva.
The article written by Christian Adofo gives a brief background and description of each act listed. The article also references D’banj as one of the biggest ‘Afrobeats’ act from Africa.
The Guardian’s magazine ‘The Observer’ recently featured a lengthy interview with D’banj.
