In one of the biggest shocks in FA Cup history, Wigan Athletic today, Saturday, May 11, 2013 defeated Manchester City by an injury time goal.
The match which finished 1-0 in favour of Wigan saw Ben Watson’s late minute header as the match winner of the FA Cup finals, sending Latic fans into a frenzy as they celebrated at the Wembley Stadium.
Ironically, Wigan is facing relegation in the Premiership. The season’s two remaining games will decided their fate.
