Oyenike Laoye-Oturu, better known as Nikki Laoye, is one of the few Nigerian celebs who remain happily married.
Renowned for her eclectic musical expressions and captivating stage performances, Nikki Laoye has enjoyed a scandal-free career and recently spoke with E-Rave on why most celebrity marriages fail.
According to her, most individuals do not find their ‘friends’ in their partners which however contributes to the growing rate of failed celebrity marriages.
‘One major thing I think is responsible for failed marriages is when one is very insensitive to his/her partner. Women love attention. I love it and my husband understands me for who I am and that is very important in a union. Apart from buying the gifts and doing a couple of other things, you should always understand what your partner wants,’ she said.
