Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has opened up about the toughest part of her new life in the spotlight and it’s not what most people would expect.
At a recent movie premiere hosted by fellow BBNaija star Saga, Imisi spoke with Goldmyne TV and said that one of the biggest challenges she’s facing is the pressure to always look perfect in public.
“Wearing makeup every time I go out, especially for events like this, really isn’t my thing,” she said. “I don’t like stuff on my face, and I even hate having hair on my body.”
Even though many fans think she looks great all the time, she admitted it’s been tough trying to keep up with beauty standards. “Honestly, I think I look good without all that,” she said. “But because of how people expect you to look, you have to make sure your hair, makeup, and nails are always done.”
Imisi is now trying to find a balance between being herself and meeting the public’s expectations.
She became a fan favorite, earning a nickname while being in the house (Ijoba 606) and eventually won the show after beating 28 other housemates. At the live finale on October 5, she took home ₦80 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, making her one of the most talked-about reality stars in the country.
