Wande Coal enters his second week atop the MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten powered by Star Music this week -thanks to monster hit ‘The Kick‘, featuring Don Jazzy and directed by Sesan.
Special guest Osahon Asemota from MTV Base is on the Official Naija Top 10 sofa this week to discuss Wande Coal’s success with VJ Ehis and to run through the rest of this week’s chart.
This week’s biggest climber is PSquare, who jump three places from 9 to number 6 due to the on-going appeal of ‘Personally’. Other climbers are BET Award Winner Ice Prince whose ‘VIP’; moves up one place from number 6 to number 5, while D’Banj’s ‘Don’t Tell Me Nonsense‘ moves off the bottom slot to number 9
Chidinma is this week’s only new entry with ‘E MI NI Baller’, clocking into the Official Naija Top 10 for the first time at number 10. 2Face’s ‘Dance Floor‘ doesn’t seem able to emulate the success of former number one ‘Ihe Neme‘ and slips back one place from 7 to 6, while Flavour’s ‘Chinny Baby‘ falls back two spots to end up in seventh place. Dropping out of the chart altogether is Lynxxx’s ‘Eziokwu‘ after an incredible 19 weeks in the Official Naija Top 10.
