Big Brother’s House has proven to be one of the best places to get into different entanglements and this season is not any different. There are so many situationships in the BBNaija Lockdown house but at its fore are the triangles and squares.
Here are the most complicated entanglements in the house:
Nengi/Ozo/Dora
Dorathy and Ozo had an instant mental connection. Their bond was sweet and platonic. But Nengi also immediately caught Ozo’s attention because she’s his ‘spec’. She’s light-skinned, gorgeous and voluptuous. On one hand, Ozo has his best friend – Dora, who he considers his favourite person in Biggie’s house. On the other hand, he has his dream girl – Nengi.
Housemates and viewers have continued to ‘ship’ Dora with Ozo even though she says that she doesn’t want to get in a relationship in the house. Other viewers would rather see Ozo and Nengi together. He has clarified that he likes Dora strictly as a friend and that he would love to be with Nengi.
But conflict always arises when he is faced with the choice of picking one of them for favourable positions. For example, he was confused when he had to choose one of them for the post of Deputy HOH. That choice allowed him to save one of them from possible eviction. He chose to save Dora, who has always proven to be there for him as opposed to Nengi whose affections are constantly wavering.
The three of them are in murky waters, and it’s uncertain how this triangle is going to play out. The whole world is waiting to see what will happen. Who will he eventually end up with, his best friend or his spec?
Laycon/Erica/Kiddwaya
Erica is stuck in the middle of two remarkable men. One is smart, philosophical and highly talented, but he isn’t exactly the hottest guy in the room. The other is funny, gorgeous and confident, but he lacks the mind of a philosopher.
Laycon who Erica dubbed ‘Our Philosopher’ has unrequited feelings for her, but she only sees him as a friend. She likes Kiddwaya who feels the same way. The only thing holding her back is the fear of hurting her friend.
Laycon has told Erica how he feels, and she made it clear that she just wants to be friends. He is stuck in the same house with her and has to watch her slowly fall for another person. Kiddwaya has also made it abundantly clear that he likes Erica but has to deal with the fact that she may never take their relationship further while in the house to avoid hurting Laycon.
Erica has also opened up to fellow housemates, Vee and Tolanibaj that there are certain qualities in both men that she admires and would merge into one man if she could. At the moment, it appears that Kiddwaya is winning the battle for Erica’s heart against Laycon, but we will continue watching to see how it ends.
Tolanibaj/Prince/Wathoni/Nengi
Prince is at the centre of this square. He was instantly attracted to Nengi when they first got into the house, but he was open to exploring other options.
His other options were Tolanibaj and Wathoni, both of whom have crushes on him.
After trying and failing to get Nengi to like him, Prince has sworn to move on from her. The only problem? His mouth is saying one thing, but his eyes, expressions and actions are telling a different story. However, he is working hard to stay true to his words of moving on from Nengi and has begun to make moves on Tolanibaj. After a sweet heart-to-heart talk, the two seem to have an understanding and have decided to work on their bond.
Wathoni is on the losing end of this entanglement, deciding that icing out Prince would help her fix her friendship with Tolanibaj – a price she’s willing to pay. It seems there’s a ship slowly building up between Tolanibaj and Prince, but we are still at the foundation. If they do sail, what would we call them? ‘Tolce’ or ‘Pribaj’?
