Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho is making headlines off the pitch with the release of Camisa 10, his debut album featuring an impressive lineup of 44 artists from 18 countries. The ambitious project arrives just days before the kickoff of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, blending the worlds of football and music on a global scale.
Released through Ronaldinho’s newly launched record label, Tu Música, Camisa 10 pays tribute to the iconic No. 10 jersey that became synonymous with the former FC Barcelona and Brazil superstar throughout his illustrious career. The two-volume album showcases a diverse mix of genres, including dancehall, reggaeton, Latin pop, Afrobeats, regional Mexican music, and urban sounds, reflecting the international appeal that made Ronaldinho one of football’s most beloved figures.
Leading the project is the single “Lead,” featuring Jamaican dancehall star Sean Paul alongside Canadian production duo Banx & Ranx. The album also boasts collaborations with global music heavyweights such as Pitbull, Justin Quiles, Luis R. Conriquez, Lenny Tavarez, Lenin Ramírez, Micro TDH, Yng Lvcas, Nanpa Básico, Jonas Blue, Dalex, Jon Z, and Fariana.
African music is also well represented on the project, with Nigerian stars Odumodublvck, Shoday, Skales, Mavo and Ghana singer, Gyakie contributing to the expansive tracklist. Their inclusion underscores Ronaldinho’s vision of creating a truly global musical experience that transcends borders and cultures.
According to Tu Música, the album was developed by music executives Allan Jesus and Roni Maltz Bin in collaboration with Roberto de Assis, Ronaldinho’s brother and longtime manager. The project serves as the flagship release for the Miami-based company, which aims to connect artists, cultures, and audiences through large-scale international collaborations.
Speaking on the project, Sean Paul expressed his excitement about working alongside the football icon. “Ronaldinho is a legend, and I feel truly grateful, excited and honored to be part of this project alongside him at such a special time for world football,” he said.
The timing of Camisa 10 is strategic. With the United States, Mexico, and Canada set to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, global attention is once again focused on football and its cultural influence. By bringing together artists from multiple continents and musical backgrounds, the album seeks to capture the spirit of the world’s biggest sporting event while introducing Ronaldinho’s latest venture beyond football.
While athletes crossing into music is nothing new, few projects have matched the scale and ambition of Camisa 10. With a roster spanning major music markets across Latin America, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean, Ronaldinho’s debut album stands as both a musical celebration and a bold global brand statement from one of football’s most enduring icons.
