The BBNaija Lockdown housemates have been getting adapted to the house and have already performed two tasks for Big brother.
Some of them also had their first diary sessions in Biggie’s beach-themed Diary room. Each housemate got to talk about their experiences so far in the house, their thoughts on fellow housemates, alliances they are forming, thoughts on the Head of house game, their chances of winning the game and lessons they learned from isolation.
Here’s a breakdown of every housemate’s diary session:
Experience in the house: It’s been great and winning Head of House crowned an awesome week.
Thoughts on other Housemates: She likes the other housemates’ vibes and everybody has something to offer.
New Alliances: She sees herself bonding with Tricky Tee, Ozo, Kiddwaya and Erica (since she’s known her since MBGN 2014). She also really likes Wathoni even though she’s been distant.
Experience in Isolation: The isolation was boring for the first five days but she got to read her Bible from Genesis to Matthew. It was a period of self-discovery.
Thoughts on the HOH Game: She loved the Head of House game and she really enjoyed it.
Chances of Winning: she feels very confident and she thinks she has 101% chance of winning.
WATHONI
Experience in the house: She says the feeling has been fine and she’s been reluctant to open up and she feels like now that they have to get to know each other she has to open up.
Thoughts on other Housemates: She says the other housemates are amazing but she needs to get to know some people more.
New Alliances: Wathoni is likely to bond with Nengi because she is cool and TrickyTee because he has a good vibe and makes her laugh.
Experience in Isolation: She learned to stay alone and be without her phone. She also learned that nothing can get her into depression.
Thoughts on the HOH Game: The dice is the game and it’s just a game of chance.
Chances of Winning: She thinks she has 100% chances of winning.
NEO
Experience in the house: He is still getting used to the experience but he loves everything in the house and he thinks that Biggie has good taste because the house is beautiful.
Thoughts on other Housemates: Neo says that the housemates are respectful. They are very respectful of your story, your talent, and all about positive vibes. He loves that they always have something to talk about, the vibes from housemates, and the fact that everyone has their different stories.
New Alliances: Neo has connected most with Eric, Brighto, TrickyTee, Kidwaya, praise, Laycon, Nengi, Vee, ka3rn, and Dora. He loves the fact that they can share an interest.
Experience in Isolation: The isolation period taught him that he only needs himself. He also learnt to sketch and he gained more confidence in himself. And he also became closer to God.
Thoughts on the HOH Game: He thought the HOH game was a cruise, it was fun, fair and entertaining even though he lost to Nengi.
Chances of Winning: He thinks he has a great chance of winning.
He also asked Biggie if he could call him ‘Big Bra’, to which Big brother said no.
OZO
Thoughts on other Housemates: He says he feels like he has known them for two weeks instead of two days and he liked how everyone was cheering each other on during the arena games.
New Alliances: He said he sees himself bonding with Dora the most in the house because she has a great personality.
Experience in Isolation: He said he was initially excited about being isolated because he thought there was a TV in his room only to realise that it doesn’t work. He said he had to read the Bible so much and had a chance to clear his head. He also ate a lot.
Thoughts on the HOH Game: He said the game gave everyone equal opportunity even though it’s a game of luck. He says you will be fine if you successfully avoid ‘4, 10, 13, 24’ and that everyone was happy that Nengi won.
Biggie also agreed that he could play pranks on people in the house, so fingers crossed on what he pranks he would play.
KA3NA
Experience in the house: She said her experience has been amazing and refreshing because she has always wanted to be on TV. It has been the most memorable experience in her life.
Thoughts on other Housemates: She loves everyone and all the housemates are amazing and supportive.
New Alliances: She is most comfortable with Praise because he’s proud of what he does but she likes everyone.
Experience in Isolation: She says the lockdown experience allowed her to read the Bible, boost her self confidence and helped her become creative. It also allowed her to talk to herself a lot.
Chances of Winning: She believes that in order to win, she needs to be real and open-minded.
ERIC
Experience in the house: He says it has been fun and there is so much to look forward to.
Thoughts on other Housemates: He says everyone has something to say and they are special. He also added that he enjoys talking to them.
New Alliances: He is beginning to form alliances with Erica, LILO, Neo and Praise because they always have something to talk about and he enjoys their company.
Thoughts on the HOH Game: He feels the HOH game was fun and that he did okay.
Experience in Isolation: During isolation, he learned a lot about himself, he had a lot of mood changes, it was good. He started to figure out what he wants to do after the house. He also learned that he has the drive to help people.
Chances of Winning: Eric feels he has a good chance of winning and that his confidence is sky-high.
BRIGHTO
Experience in the house: He says his experience has not been easy because he lost his personal belongings so that has been a challenge for him. He said even though he has been having fun, he’s also been finding it hard to sleep because of the lights in the house.
Thoughts on other Housemates: He said the housemates have been playing safe, even though he knows they all have different personalities. He expects that they will start to show their true colours with time.
New Alliances: He said he sees himself bonding with Neo and Tochi because he has an attachment with them but he doesn’t know about the ladies yet.
Thoughts on the HOH Game: He says the arena games are about luck and attention.
Experience in Isolation: During his isolation, he played a lot of games, prayed a lot and read his bible. He felt it was hard to keep time because there were no clocks. He also realized that nothing is impossible to do.
Chances of Winning: He said his chances of winning is 50/50 because everyone is hiding under the shadows.
LUCY
Experience in the house: She says it’s been crazy and she’s been emotionally unstable. She knew she wouldn’t be ready but everything has been mindblowing. She expects that the show will be more fun as they spend more time in the house and she can’t wait for everything to start happening.
Thoughts on other Housemates: She likes the other BBNaija Lockdown housemates and she’s looking for fights but she’s happy that she gets to have 19 more friends.
New Alliances: Lucy sees herself as an ally with Prince because he is the male version of herself and Dora because she gets her expressions. She also said that she has connected with Tochi and Praise.
Thoughts on the HOH Game: She claims she almost fell down and she was surprised that she didn’t pass out.
Experience in Isolation: She said the isolation process was nice and it was like a vacation for her because she has been working all year and it was a break for her. She also discovered her talents.
Chances of Winning: She says she’s not sure of her chances of winning because she’s not so focused on the money as she believes the platform is already enough for her.
KIDWAYA
Experience in the house: He says it’s been great and warm and he’s excited to be in the house. He really loves being in the house because it’s similar to when he was in boarding school.
Thoughts on other Housemates: He thinks that the BBNaija Lockdown housemates are all similar and they have cool vibes. He said Big Brother did a good job picking them.
New Alliances: He sees himself bonding with Tochi and Eric.
Thoughts on the HOH Game: The game caught him by surprise but he thought it was fair since it was based on luck.
Experience in Isolation: Kiddwaya said the isolation period for him was revealing. It was a meditation journey for him. It was the right time for him to be without his phone. He prayed, read his bible and got to know himself more. He says the process is something he’ll do some time again in the future and he thanks Biggie for it.
Chances of Winning: He says he takes each day as it comes and he’s just happy to be here and make new friends. He’s just enjoying the process and the journey rather than the destination.
ERICA
Experience in the house: She says BBNaija Lockdown been different from what she’s seen on TV but she’s having so much fun.
Thoughts on other Housemates: She thinks the other housemates are very true but she’s sure they will teach her and each other tolerance.
New Alliances: She feels that she is most likely to be allies with Neo and Dora.
Thoughts on the HOH Game: She said the Head of House game was annoying because it’s strictly based on luck.
Experience in Isolation: She read the whole Bible, felt like she was going crazy but she also had a lot of fun with herself even though she craved human contact.
Chances of Winning: Erica says she’s very positive, even though she knows that she isn’t the most qualified, that she will make it to the last day. She believes her chances of winning are very high.
