I think the fact that this news item feels so old is such a testament to how quickly news becomes old these days. One minute you are trending because you claimed your ex slept with more than a dozen men, the next, Rihanna gets a tattoo. I still find this funny though, especially as he 1. Deleted the tweets, then 2. Told us he didn’t mention any names. Rob….
7. Radio girls get along
Every time us ladies do our Radio Night Out, we get comments like, ‘Oh, so you guys don’t hate each other‘ and so on.
So I ask, ‘Where do you work?‘. If it is a bank, I say ‘Do you not get along with people that work in other banks?‘ Then I get silence.
Nuff said.

5. We walked for life
Sickle Cell advocates, Progeny (@progeny_) organise the annual Walk for Life to raise money and awareness for Sickle Cell Disorder, and on December 8th, we walked from Yard 158 on Kudirat Abiola Way Oregun to Banquet Hall on Lateef Jakande Road. We had fun, danced a bit, made some noise, even had some guy in a car pull a gun out at one of us (*sigh*) and talked the talk!

One of my favourite Nigerian artistes keeps making waves at home and abroad! Recently, D’Banj signed a distribution deal with Sony Music Entertainment. ‘Partnering with D’Banj is a seminal event for us at Sony Music Entertainment Africa. We’ve always admired his talent and to be able to assist with bringing D’Banj’s music to millions of fans, established and new, across the continent is an honour for us’, says Managing Director of Sony Music Entertainment Sean Watson.

Okay so this for me is very scary news. Did you hear about how some prisoner actually hired a former prisoner and another man to kill Justin Bieber? This man, by the way, has a tattoo of Justin Bieber. So this for me is beyond an obsession. Whaaaat? Sca-ry o!
2. Karen Igho got slapped.
So this really made me very sad because I could picture the scenario. Woke up Saturday morning to see Karen Igho’s tweets about her getting slapped by a security personnel.
@Karen_Igho: ‘He loaded his gun and put it to my face at the car park, Said he will shoot me if I don’t give him money..I said I didn’t have. He slap me!!’
I mean, all the details are being pieced together and she says she has spoken with her lawyer, but news like this just ticks me off. It’s not even about a man hitting a woman as people are quick to shout, it is more than that. This is about you not being safe when you go out for an event. And who’s the threat here? Not thieves or area boys but security personnel!!!
1. Taylor Swift is THAT chick!
If you listen to my show, then you know that I play me some Taylor Swift. But I’ve recently started observing Taylor Swift for non-music reasons. Have you noticed that this chick somehow manages to date a guy, get her heart broken, write a song about it, make a hit, and then meet another great guy (and continue the cycle?)
But let’s focus on the guys!
