Tiwa Savage is set to release her forthcoming album, This One Is Personal, on August 29.
Tiwa Savage recently dropped a fresh new single titled “On the Low” featuring British Nigerian rapper Skepta. The sultry, slow-burning track gives listeners a taste of what’s to come and is confirmed to be one of the lead singles from the upcoming album.
This One Is Personal follows the success of Tiwa’s third studio album, Celia, released in August 2020. That album cemented her status as one of Africa’s leading musical voices. It featured an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Sam Smith, Naira Marley, Stefflon Don, Dice Ailes, Davido, and Hamzaa.
Celia also delivered a string of hits, including “Attention,” “Ole”, “Dangerous Love,” “Koroba,” and the Sam Smith-assisted “Temptation”, all of which dominated charts and airwaves across the continent and beyond.
With This One Is Personal, Tiwa Savage is expected to go even deeper. blending her signature sound with heartfelt storytelling and bold collaborations. From what we’ve heard so far, this could be her most powerful and personal project yet.
