Tiwa Savage may be one of the country’s most successful singers today, but it doesn’t change the fact that she tends to make bad fashion choices.
The 37-year-old mother of one has stepped out in surprisingly questionable outfits on several occasions, leading us to wonder what the hell her stylist was really employed to do.

When she wore an oversized see-through dress
Tiwa attended the 2014 BET Awards wearing a slightly oversized see-through dress that exposed her plain lacy bra. I mean, if you’re going to expose your bra, can it please be nice looking?
This outfit at a concert
Her fashion sense could have been overlooked if she at least managed to slay while performing on stage. Trust me, this is even worse.
Can’t even begin to imagine what exactly was going on in her head when she agreed to wear this ridiculous green piece of clothing.
No one can exactly be sure if she’s merely doing a poor imitation of her role model, Beyonce‘s onstage looks, or just trying to create her own style, but one thing is for sure; the only reason why we love to watch Tiwa perform on stage is because of her musical talent.
Simple but not good enough
Her wardrobe choices can at best be described as tacky and painful to look at. Last December, Tiwa punished us a number of times with bad outfit after bad outfit.

It wasn’t the first time we were seeing a shoeless Tiwa Savage performing. Back in 2013, she performed without her shoes in Warri, despite the heavy rain.

A few days later, Tiwa arrived at the Mavin concert dressed in this confusing… jumpsuit? Playsuit?
She didn’t do any better when she got on stage, believe me.

Like all that wasn’t enough, she decided to deck out in a bag of rice for the One Lagos concert that held barely three days later.
The busy colours
This year might have seen the singer make some wardrobe improvement, but it still doesn’t change the fact she needs some help in fashion.
This particular getup confused me a little too much for words. And those sandals? Why, Tiwa? Plain colours exist because of overly busy outfits like this.
One thing is for sure, Tiwa Savage is a gifted singer and continually does the country proud, the most recent being her management deal with Roc Nation, but we all agree that she needs a stylist with better eyesight and taste. Fast!
