Call it the season of endorsements and you won’t be wrong.
Earlier today, Iyanya renewed his contract with MTN and in spite of reports the Don Jazzy-led Mavin crew may be ditching MTN for local rivals Globacom, the producer today announced he’s signed on for phase two of his MTN deal.
Sources are now saying Timi Dakolo who was spotted at the Upfront Bookings Talent Agency office in Lagos today may be eyeing a deal with the telco.
Paul Okoye-led Upfront is a booking agency with links to corporate Nigeria. Recent deals include MTN and Pepsi endorsements for major names in music.
Bayelsa-born Dakolo won the first edition of Idols West Africa in 2007. He’s not currently linked to any brands.
