Spinlet is back with a new executive panel and exciting ideas for the Nigerian music industry.
The digital company has already announced Canadian tech guru Neil Schwartzman as its new CEO. Schwartzman will be replacing former CEO Eric Idiahi (who left in late 2012).
Other critical execs announced by Spinlet include e-commerce businessman Tim Harper who will act as Chief Performance Officer and Francis Ebuehi, a former Naspers Online Marketplace Manager and regional manager of OLX Nigeria (formerly known as Dealfish West Africa) who now assumes the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Having studied the Nigerian entertainment industry for close to two years, Spinlet says they are ready to begin rolling out exciting features for Nigerian music lovers and others who centre their lives on entertainment.
In addition to the Industry Nite talent showcase which they have supported for a while now, they will be re-focusing on their music app and increase in functionality. Ebuehi says the company has plans to create an app for the PC users also (Think of it like the Nigerian version of Spotify).
