Rising music sensation Jerrilyn Mulbah in recent times has been raising heads with the release of back-to-back singles but that’s not the only thing the singer has been doing. Jerrilyn announced this week that she would be starting up her own fitness centre.
The former West African Idols star says the fitness centre will comprise of a gym, spa and healthy eating restaurant which will mostly offer food which contain proper nutrient. The centre will also provide professional services in helping reduce excess cholesterol in the body with the use of local herbs.
‘These days, people buy all sorts of medication just to reduce sugar in their system and burn unwanted fat in different areas in their body. Some of these medications are harmful to one’s health so, we are bringing natural herbs clinically tested and approved that would solve this problem’, Jerrilyn says.
Asking why she decided to set up the centre, Jerrilyn says apart from her making music, she has always been conscious of her skin and weight and would like to share her concern for nurturing the body with others. ‘The center will also call on professional speakers from time to time to educate people on the importance of healthy living’, the mother-of-one tells NET
Jerrilyn who plans to release her debut album this year was among the top 5 finalists in the 2007 West African Idols held in Nigeria. The Liberian-born singer now lives in Nigeria with her daughter.
