La Tomatina is the world’s largest annual food fight festival where participants this year threw 150 tonnes of tomatoes at each other on Wednesday.
The festival, which has its origins from a brawl that broke out in 1945, is held in Bunol, near Valencia, every August.
It plays host to over 20,000 participants and is one of Spain’s biggest tourist attraction.
