Despite Sarkodie facing a challenge from other top Ghanaian artistes including Daddy Lumba, Stonebwoy, Guru, Edem, MzVee and Samini for the gong, Sammy Forson feels his artiste has done great in putting Ghana music on the global map, was quoted on Vibe Ghana as saying:
‘Getting nominated in 11 categories is enough reason to tell anyone that Sarkodie deserves it, Sarkodie will always remain on top because he works hard every year
‘His Adonai Remix Ft Castro, Love Rocks Ft Samini among other releases was all over the place last year, ‘The Artiste of the Year award is for him,’ he added.
The awards event is billed to hold at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
