A source has claimed that Rita admitted she was ‘broody at the moment’. The speculation was furthered by the ‘How We Do’ hitmaker making a fuss over 7-year old Regan Evans, who watched his mother, Shellyann perform on the BBC show.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: ‘Rita spent ages cuddling Regan and talking to him. People were saying how natural she was with him, and how happy she looked.’ Another source said: ‘Rita has bought a tiny dog so perhaps she is using her as practice for a baby.’
Rita’s boyfriend, Ricky is a rapper and the son of fashion designer, Tommy Hilfiger. In 2014, she split from DJ Calvin Harris and in a subsequent interview, she said he helped her get over her ‘love fantasy.’
Rita confessed that their bitter breakup made her realise she wasn’t being true to herself. She shared: ‘I had a breakup, or whatever, and it really made me realize what I was trying to do. ‘I had been fixated on this love fantasy, but really it wasn’t like that, and I had to take myself back.’
