She didn’t win the ‘Best African Artiste‘ award at the recently held BET Awards 2014 but something tells us Tiwa Savage doesn’t really mind.
The Nigerian superstar made the best use of her trip to the City of Angels, projecting her music into the Western market.
It was almost like homecoming for Tiwa, a singer who honed her skills in the US as a writer for years, working with the likes of Chrisette Michelle, Mary J Blige and Fantasia. We’re sure returning as a nominee wouldn’t have been in her wildest dreams four years ago, let alone performing at the show pre-event concert!
Tiwa shared memorable photos on her Instagram account while in Los Angeles posting pictures of herself hanging out with the likes of Pharrell, T-Pain, Chris Brown’s protege Sevyn Streeter and others.
