Organisers of the 5th edition of Ghana’s bi-national music concert now known as the ‘Tigo Ghana Meets Naija Concert’ have unveiled more profiles which includes that of more acts who are expected to thrill the crowd at the event.
They have earlier unveiled the profiles of Sarkodie and young Mavin act, Reekado Banks. And although this year’s edition will be headlined by the Don Jazzy-led Mavin crew made up of Reekado Banks, Dr Sid, Korede Bello, Di’Ja, D’ Prince, Ghanaian stars including Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy will represent Ghana as more acts will be revealed in due time.

Sidney Onoriode Esiri commonly known as Dr. SID is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and dentist, who is originally from Delta-State but was raised in Lagos.
Dr SID started recording his first studio album as a solo artist under Mo’ Hits Records with producer Don Jazzy. The first single of the album, Turning Point was titled: “Something About You” and was released in September 2009. He also performed at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Kenya as a member of the Mo’ Hits Allstars, alongside D’Banj, Wande Coal and Kenyan artist STL.
Following a fall out of the partners at Mo’ Hits Records, Dr SID has since signed on to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records. He also had three songs from his upcoming album, featured on a Mavin Records compilation album titled: Solar Plexus.
Born Charles Nii Armah Mensah JNR, he is a Ghanaian, born to reggae-dance-hall musician, Charles Mensah Snr and Mama Elsie. His greatest song hit in 2013, ‘Dance-hall King’, took the airwaves by storm after staying out of mainstream for ten years.
Shatta wale’s musical revenue is mostly generated through hosting of shows which attracts thousands of Ghanaian youths.
He won Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards. Shatta Wale’s hard-work in 2014 got him nominated for the maiden and highly prestigious GN Bank Awards as the People’s Choice Male Musician of the year.
‘Dance-hall Commando’ featuring Sarkodie, Party all night long featuring Jah Vinci, Wine Ya Waist featuring Davido and Korle Gonno are some of his hit tracks making waves locally and internationally.
Nigerian artiste, Charles Enebeli, best known as D’Prince was born on the October 23. D’Prince is the younger brother of music mogul and CEO of Mavin records, Don Jazzy. D’prince was born to Nollywood actor, Collins Enebeli and international business lady, Patience Enebeli and was raised in Ajegunle, Lagos where he grew up with his three siblings.
D’Prince attended Kings College, Lagos and decided to delve into music afterwards. He initially founded his own label called: ‘Sagitarious Productions’ until he got signed on to Don Jazzy’s Mo’Hits. D’Prince is known to be dating Cameroonian Inorie Fotso since 2011.
