For eight days from Christmas Eve till New Year’s Day, the city of Lagos will party non-stop at the One Lagos Fiesta.
About 40 concerts will take place in five locations – Epe, Badagry, Victoria Island, Ikorodu and Agege – with over 500 hours of entertainment.
The concerts will feature popular Nigerian musicians such as 2face, D’banj, Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay, Don Jazzy, Waje, Darey, Banky W, Adekunle Gold and Korede Bello.
But for talented Lagosians who are not yet as popular, this year’s edition will also feature an open mic contest where the undiscovered talents will showcase their skills, be it music, dance, comedy.
The open mic content is currently open for online registration with auditions already holding across the state at various locations.
The venues for the auditions are the Multipurpose Hall of Eko FM, Agidingbi, Ikeja; Lugard’s House along the Badagry Marina; 1, Oriwu Street, Ita Elewa, Ikorodu; City Hall, Lagos Island; Divisional Information Office, Chartlet Road, beside Lagos High Court, Oke-Oyinbo, Epe.
Shortlisted artistes will get an opportunity to perform on the big stage of the One Lagos Fiesta alongside the biggest stars and also win fantastic prizes from the Lagos State government, bankrollers of the event.
