YQ hit the music scene with a street themed debut single which featured a ‘fire spitting’ Dagrin on two verses. Both artistes can almost be described as facing similar struggles to success. From the streets, singing and rapping to performing at free shows just to get recognition.
Both acts emerged in the spotlight just around the same time and became instant favourites. Today makes it exactly one year since the late Dagrin passed away. YQ decides to remind us of how talented and creative Dagrin was with this single off his debut work ‘I Am YQ‘. The video is quite touching…RIP Akogun.
