KWAM 1 isn’t the only veteran Nigerian artiste with a daughter who’s neck deep into music…
Veteran Reggae musician Ras Kimono‘s daughter Ogechukwu Nwamaka Onwubuya a.k.a Oge has for a while been proving that music flows in the family; carving a niche for herself in the reggae and dance-hall scene in the Nigerian music industry.
The 27-year-old started singing at the age of 10 as a hobby, and with the encouragement of her father, kicked off a music career in 2003. She has learnt the ropes working as a back up artiste for the likes of Tuklan, Ade Bantu, Uwe Banton and or course her dad Ras Kimono.
Here’s her new single ‘Drum and bass’, sounds pretty good too…
