In times like this, when the country seems be riding on a not-so-clear path, the voice of the musician has always been known to reach out to millions chanting and expressing songs of rebuke and retrogression.
That ‘s the path Samson Okoye better known as Chakka Da Souljah has taken with his style of music. The young Reggae/Dancehall act who started out as a hip-hop act switched to his current Reggae genre back in 2008 which he says suited him more. He went on to release his debut work ‘ICHIBAN‘ which got him a nomination in the Best Dancehall/Reggae Album Of The Year category at the prestigious Hiphop World Awards in 2009.
‘Mumu thing’ is a beautiful dancehall track to listen to, with the right kind of flavour that will get the most rigid of people swaying from side to side. If you have never danced to dancehall music, this is a right starter to it.
