Big Brother Naija Season 10 stayed true to its 10/10 theme, with housemates delivering top-tier entertainment throughout their time on national TV. From drama and strategy to love, fights, and authenticity, they kept viewers across Nigeria and Africa engaged. In the end, Imisi walked away with the grand prize of N150 million, wrapping up a season that many consider to be one of the most entertaining yet.
A Poll was created on the Netng Instagram account on whether the housemates really delivered in terms of entertainment, gbas gbos, ship, and all-around delivery of things. The poll was a positive one, as the result showed a percentage of 94% voting in favor of the housemates delivering and 6% voting against them. The poll had over 123 responses on it.
When they all got on stage on the opening nights of the season, they all made their entrance, as all brought their A-game to the show with their authenticity and some with the strategies they had all planned out before coming into the show.
The most talked-about housemate with the most strategic strategy which people talked about was that of Imisi, as there were all claims that she is a big girl outside of the house who understands and speaks English fluently, but adopted a different personality inside of the house, sometimes acting like she doesn’t understand things. Some even playfully added that the fact that, since she’s an actress, she’s probably playing out a script in the house, and at the end of the day, her strategy made her win the game.
The season was full of drama and all, with over 29 housemates who were fighting over the grand prize worth N150 million. By the final week of the season, we had 10 finalists originally, before Faith was disqualified in that final week, making it a top 9 instead. The finalists consisted of housemates which were Imisi, Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella, and Kaybobo, as they all finished in that order.
The season was full of drama and entertainment from the beginning to the last day of the show, as we witnessed fights from Faith & Imisi, to Imisi & Kaybobo, to Imisi & Rooboy, as Imisi was mostly found in these situations quite a number of times. Then there was Victory & Kaybobo’s fight over the kitchen, to Zita & Mide, and Zita also with Rooboy by spilling a plate of Indomie on his face, which many even called for her disqualification. Then there was Faith & Sultana’s fight that got him disqualified for physical assault.
The “ship” part was also an integral part of the season, as it saw many ships brew in the house, from the likes of Danboskid & Zita, to Jason Jae & Sultana, to Kayikunmi & Isabella, to Koyin & Isabella, to Bright Morgan & Mide, to Denari & Doris; to sibling-ships like Imisi & Kola; to friendships like Zita & Tracy, Isabella, Imisi & Sultana, which fans even labelled “the three arms of government” in the house.
