Afrobeat king, Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti turned 53 years old on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.
The eldest son of the late Afrobeat founder, Fela Kuti, Femi was born on June 16, 1962 in London. He started playing the saxophone at 15 and eventually became a member of his father’s band before founding his own band, Positive Force in the late 1980s.
