The 6-foot-plus model in an exclusive chat with NET, assured Nigerians of his preparedness to be the first Nigerian to win the coveted title, ‘My preparation is 100% on check, I go to the gym regularly and do my researches to keep myself updated and prepared. I am a winner, it might just look different because it is international but if you can win a pageant in Nigeria, then you can win anywhere in the world’ he said.
‘I’m going there to have fun and while others are taking it seriously, I will just be observant and catch my fun too and with that, I am sure I will win.
He however pleaded for support from Nigerians towards achieving his quest, ‘I want Nigerians to support me and vote massively to make this dream become a reality, he said.
Bakare, 30, beat 17 other contestants to win the 2011 edition of the Silverbird Group sponsored Mr Nigeria pageant.
