The rape scandal involving Ghana’s showbiz host and fashion icon, Kwasi Kyei Darkwa and a 19-year old teenager, has added a new twist in court.
During a court hearing on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, it was revealed that the 19-year old victim was also a virgin before was forcefully taken advantage of with the KKD allegedly assuring her that the ‘Postinor’ drugs handed over to her will prevent her from getting pregnant.
A doctor’s report has confirmed that not only was her hymen torn, there was also abrasion on both her labia ‘majora’ and ‘minora’ in a twist that establishes the fact that it was a forceful and unpleasant encounter.
The next hearing in the case has been fixed for Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the High Court.
