Actor-filmmaker Omoni Oboli’s fan-favourite film Love in Every Word now has a sequel, Love in Every Word 2. The film premiered on Sunday at the IMAX Theatre in Lekki. The event drew an impressive lineup of stars, including director Omoni Oboli herself, singer Waje, Eucharia-Anunobi Ekwu, Saga Adeolu, Majid Michel, and Desmond Elliot.
The film’s leads, Bamike “Achalugo” Olawunmi-Adenibuyan and Uzor “Odogwu” Arukwe, also made striking appearances, turning heads as they arrived dressed to match the evening’s elegant mood. Drinks flowed freely, conversations shifted easily from film to fashion, and camera flashes lit up the room before guests made their way into the IMAX screening halls.

Inside the cinema, the air buzzed with anticipation. The lights dimmed, the film began, and the audience responded with laughter, applause, and a few quiet moments of emotion that reflected the heart of the story.
By the end of the night, the verdict was clear: Love in Every Word 2 had taken over Lagos. With glowing performances, delighted guests, and an atmosphere that celebrated both love and the city’s nightlife, the premiere reaffirmed why wedding parties remain such a cherished part of Lagos’ social scene.
