Societal responsibilities of both the media and police force were discussed at the conference.
According to the Korede Bello in an Instagram post, ‘The aim of the forum is to help foster the relationship between the media and the law enforcement agencies.’
He added that, ‘These forums alone can’t solve the problems but it’s a sure way [to] get the conversation going on progressive steps to be taken. It’s a collective responsibility.’
The conference had students, socialites, and assistant police commissioner Lanre Ogunlowo – who represented the state’s Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni – in attendance.
