After about five-and-a-half years at the Kenyan Television Network (KTN), 27-year-old out-going anchor and reporter, Eric Njoka was dismissed on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 for ‘indecent behaviour on live TV’
Insider say what constituted ‘indecent behaviour’ in Njoka’s case was not clearly stated, and it’s possible the broadcaster’s dismissal is in relation to an April incident when Njoka and fellow anchor Betty Kyalo laughed out at a woman.
Nigerian Entertainment Today gathered that the Nyeri woman was stripped down at a bus station, allegedly for inappropriate dressing.
The pair apologized following wild criticisms on social media.
