Just as Nollywood is burying late icon Amaka Igwe today, multiple sources are confirming that gospel singer Kefee has shockingly passed on.
Kefee who has been comatose since she slumped on a US bound flight 15 days ago, reportedly gave up the ghost on Thursday, June 12, 2014. Sources say the singer had finished recording songs for her upcoming album in Nigerian and was returning to Chicago where she was based.
Friends and associates, including Darey, Yaw, Yemi Alade are already mourning on Social media.

Kefee was married to radio and show host Teddy Don-Momoh. A source confirms that Don-Momoh has broken the sad news to close friends and family.
Kefee was formerly married to music label entrepreneur Alec Godwin. They controversially split in 2008 after protracted marital problems and a very public feud
