'I'm a bit temperamental' Basketmouth admits

Popular Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth has opened up on his temperament, which he describes as hot and slightly aggressive.

He disclosed this during an interview he recently granted Sunday Tribune, ‘Yes, I am a bit temperamental but I’m working on it’, he said, adding that people have at different times expressed their surprise at such a character being a comedian that he is.

Asked if he is content with his level of success and whether he ever gets broke, the dread-locked comedian, responds, ‘I don’t think I am in a position to say I don’t run out of funds, definitely, I do…I am not a wealthy man yet, but we will get there soon by God’s grace’.

He spoke further about his recent projects which he says has got him busy for a while. According to him, plans are on to host a comedy concert, the Olympic Special of the Nigerian Kings of Comedy which will hold at the HMV Hammersmith, Apollo, London this August. This will be followed by ‘Basketmouth-Young, Black & Gifted and ‘Basketmouth Uncensored’ in Lagos.

Basketmouth, with real names Bright Okpocha is a currently a Glo ambassador and hosts the weekly Big Friday Show televised on MTV base.
