Popular South Africa-based rapper, Hechichamnorwa Mount Zion Kwenda, better known by his stage name, Mizchif, has died after a long and tortuous battle with ill health.
According to reports, the ‘International’ rapper, who was working on his comeback album, Still A Legend after leaving the music scene for more than seven years, collapsed on a bus en route Zimbabwe on Thursday, September 4, 2014. The unfortunate incident led to his sudden and painful demise.
The real cause of death is yet to be confirmed, as it will probably be made available after an autopsy.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Mizchif was very popular in South Africa before falling off the music radar some years ago. He was regarded as the first artiste in South Africa to perform hip hop with a live band.
Reports say he was born on June 23, 1976.
