They’ve always been placed against each other and compared – from their acting skills, how they look on the red carpet, who’s got the better body, to who’s got bigger fans. Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji will forever remain rivals in the face of the public.
Well, the ‘rivals’ are in the news again.
Producers of the 2010 movie ‘Ije’ recently announced that the movie would be released in DVD format and was going on sale. For fans that couldn’t make it to the cinemas, watching Omosexy and Genny star in the same movie is as thrilling as it can get.
Both ladies – Omotola (34) and Genevieve (33) are also up for the ‘Best Stylish Actress’ award at the forthcoming FAB Awards 2012. Already standing out from the list, which also includes Rita Dominic, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Beverly Naya, it’ll be fun to watch who wins the award.
In other news, Omotola’s reality show ‘The Real Me’ kicks off on Thursday, December 6, 2012, and will be aired on the Africa Magic entertainment channel for a total of 13 weeks. A few new photos revealing the actress’ curves were released online and have gone viral.
In similar news, a photo of Genevieve covered only in a sheet is also causing a stir on the blogs; the photo was taken by veteran photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi back in 2010.
