Funke Akindele-Bello’s ‘Omo Ghetto: The Saga’, the sequel to Omo Ghetto is making its way to Netflix in a matter of weeks.
The movie was co-directed by Funke and her husband JJC Skillz and is expected to debut on Netflix, September 10, 2021. She made the announcement in a post on Instagram:
It stars actors like Funke Akindele, Chioma Akpotha, Nancy Isime, Eniola Badmus, Bimbo Thomas, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Mercy Aigbe in the lead roles.
So far, the movie grossed ₦468m at the box office to surpass Kemi Adetiba’s 2016 film “The Wedding Party” to become the highest ever grossing film in the Nigerian film industry.
It was released in 2020.
