Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele Oloyede has turned 36!
Akindele-Oloyede worked as a TV actor for years, before switching to Nollywood, Nigeria’s movie industry.
Her first acting role was on Opa Williams ‘Naked Wire‘ before going on to star as ‘Bisi’ in the family oriented educational series ‘I need to know‘ which was sponsored by the United Nations Population Fund.
Akindele is however more popularly known for producing her box office hit movie series ‘Jenifa‘ and ‘The Return of Jenifa,‘ in which she plays the lead role.
She tied the knot with her beau Kenny Oloyede on May 28, 2012.
She has an OND in Mass Communications from the Ogun State Polytechnic, and a law degree from the University of Lagos. She has often expressed her interest in going to law school.
