American female Tennis star, Serena Williams beat Czech’s Lucie Safarova in the French Open final to claim her 20th Grand Slam title yesterday, June 6, 2015.
The 33-year-old champion added the new title to her previous 19 grand slam titles by beating her opponent 6-3, 6-7 (2-7), 6-2 to add the French Open to recent titles – the U.S Open last September as well as the Australian Open she won in January this year.
With a total of 2o grand slam titles now in her kitty, many pundits would refrain from betting against Serena in her bid to become the most successful female Tennis star of all time.
