Fashion Industrialist Cynthia Kio, Creative Director of Emua Fashions is linking up with TelAfric Networks to showcase a new and exciting approach to designing dubbed ‘Making It’.
According to the producers, ‘Making It’ is a fun, exciting and urban series that takes the viewers on a journey with the designer, Cynthia Kio, as she showcases the process of making several selected items from her fashion collection.
‘I’m really psyched and excited about this project’, she said
‘I look forward to an exciting season and I am glad I have a platform to communicate the muse behind my collection by connecting with the viewers via my creative process’.
In this first episode, learning to make an Ankara Brooch is very easy with the simple steps from Cynthia Kio. With a few items easily found around the house and basic sewing material, Cynthia shows the viewers how to achieve professional quality in a couple of minutes.
Emua Fashions is the creation of Cynthia Kio, a 24 year old Nigerian currently based in Canada.
The collection, which offers a range of services including customized clothing, fashion shows and fashion consultation, was first launched in Canada in 2007 with its first independent show which was held at the fashion district of Toronto, Canada, and has since showcased to different audiences all over North America.
