Tekno has seen a handful of his music videos gather over 15 million YouTube views in six months and that’s a big DEAL.
This is because the total views from the music videos he has released in 2016 is more than the combined views of music videos released by Reekedo Banks, Kiss Daniel, and Adekunle Gold so far this year.
And Tekno is blooming with just the three songs every Nigerian has on their 2016 playlist right now, ‘Pana’, ‘Where’ and ‘Diana’. Maybe it’s the name he keeps giving women in his songs that’s won the hearts of many Nigerians, but nobody can tell.

When you argue the most talented, give it to Kiss Daniel and Reekado Banks. Adekunle Gold is also putting out good music.
Korede Bello meanwhile is now the most popular personality amongst them on social media; his 2015 visual for ‘Romantic’ featuring Tiwa Savage would have boosted his position with a total of 15 million views since December 2015.
That said, you can’t argue that Tekno is one of Nigerian music’s biggest young talents at the moment. But how long this will last remains to be seen.
