As announced earlier, D’banj is releasing in the UK his first ever international single ‘Oliver twist‘ on May 13, 2012. The entertainer has spent the last few weeks building the hype.
D’banj has now announced that the single can be pre-ordered from iTunes.
The UK version is a remix of the original version, and it’s produced by Don Jazzy. This is yet another powerful single that we think will go viral just like the original single. Don Jazzy creatively infuses a bit of techno into the verses and alters the chorus. Club-hit cerftified.

The whole remix is centred around the beat and that lying Dbanj that said in the interview that Don Jazzy didn’t produce any song for a whole year, what time did he produce this? Last two years. Let’s all disregard whatever negative thing d’banj might have said about anybody, let’s just concentrate on the bright side of his musical career. I appeal not just because I’m a fan of d’banj (also a great fan of don jazzy) but because of the promotion of our own son. No matter how a son behaves, a good mother would not in her right senses disown him. So let’s bury our grudges and beefs about anybody…this would help and go a long way. @bee, I’d have appreciated your comment if you put forward some fact. 1. Dbanj himself has admitted he cannot sing, he is just an “entertainer”. Don jazzy strategically did club bangers for mohits cos if ur track is playing in the clubs and has people dancing, its a HIT.so yes, don jazzy’s beats made dbanj 2. Correct me if I’m wrong but I do not know of any song by dbanj that was not produced by don jazzy. 3. Dbanj sure is arrogant claiming to have bought jeeps for mohits members(who are also working hard), a bentley for don jazzy(when they had equal stakes in mohits). I don’t think you read dbanj’s interview, if you did maybe your reprisal would’ve bEen more objective.
@kayjob, I feel you but the bible says spare the rod and spoil the child. I was an avid mohits fan and it hurts that such a dynasty would end in such a manner. I know dbanj will succeed, he has no choice but I also know it will be a long and hard road. I guess he needed this so he can come to his senses. We are expecting him back home, with his people who love and support him, not with illuminati people following kim k’s yansh up and down.
Reading all the Nigerian blogs and websites and I wonder when we became a nation so filled with hate for our fellow men. Nigerians used to be happy people, ready to support their own, ready to smile and forge ahead. But now all we spend our time doing is bitching and hating. For the haters of Dbanj or Don Jazzy how do you know they didn’t speak to each other this morning and cracked jokes? How do you know what really happened between them? Who are you to pass so much hate around. So sad. My happy motherland is now infested with so much bitterness.
