Burna Boy has been having a great month and that has been capped by an endorsement of his music by legendary singer and Grammy award winner, Elton John.
Elton John had talked about playing Burna’s music on his show and the self proclaimed African Giant couldn’t contain his excitement that he had made it to Elton John’s Rocket Hour playlist for the week.

The endorsement came in the form of a radio jingle that Elton had done for his Rocket Hour show on Beats 1 Radio by Apple Music which he also posted on social media. He had said “Hi, I’m Elton John and this is my rocket hour on Beats 1 radio where we play you Burna Boy on African express, we love Teyana Taylor as you know, we’ve interviewed her on this show, some older stuff, and some stuff that just comes to my mind as the show is going on.”
Burna Boy was dumbfounded and he kept replaying the part where his name was mentioned. The excited multiple hit maker even had to ask if what he had heard was true. To be honest, his excitement was so infectious.
A brand new episode of #RocketHour is here, which means more Elton and more of the hottest music!

The singer replayed the part where his name was mentioned so many times with pure joy. Elton John just had a movie (biopic) about his life made titled, Rocketman which kind of explains the name of his show. Burna and his new album ‘African Giant’ have also been endorsed by Joe Budden, GQ, Complex, Trevor Noah and Jimmy Kimmel.
