Popular Nigerian actors have been enlisted to boost the brand profile of a cellular network company, Vodafone, among them being, a veteran in the Yoruba movie sector, Bukky Wright.
The Berkshire, England-based network is set to roll out its 4G network in the country, and we hear they’ve recruited top Nollywood practitioners and entertainers, which, apart from Wright, include; actress Lola Alao, singer Kefee, rapper Eva, Nollywood actors Segun Arinze, Ngozi Ezeonu and a whole lot of others.
Wright’s publicist 745 Entertainment told us TV commercials featuring these artistes were shot across Nigeria ‘from North to South, and even in the East’.
With its eyes on emerging markets, Vodafone is already in Turkey, India, South Africa and Ghana; and is now hoping topenetrate Nigeria – the huge market everyone wants to play in.
Meanwhile, Bukky Wright is getting ready to release her eleventh movie production entitled ‘KANI‘. The movie is slated for release in a matter of months and features some of the finest actors from Nigeria and Ghana.
