The highly anticipated sixth season of the popular music talent show, ‘Nigerian Idol’ will premiere on Sunday, March 14 from 6 pm on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 29.
The first and second episodes will be pre-shows that will cover highlights from the auditions held late last year. Viewers will immediately get a glimpse of what to expect throughout the season, and a chance to get acquainted with the judges. It will be filled with belly-aching laughs thanks to all the downright hilarious moments clips from the auditions will bring.
The main episodes will air weekly starting on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at 7 pm on Africa Magic Showcase, Urban, and Family. The contestants of Nigerian Idol Season 6 will be guided by award-winning singer Seyi Shay, Creative entrepreneur Obi Asika, and superstar disc jockey DJ Sose. IK Osakioduwa will join the three judges to host the show. The eventual winner of this season’s show will walk away with a recording contract with a leading record label and 50 million Naira worth of prizes.
