Blackface, one of the trio of the defunct boy band, Plantashun boiz, has raised hinted that his former colleague, 2Baba and his manager Efe Omorogbe have served him with a 5o Million Naira lawsuit.

The two former group members have been in an almost decade-long feud, fuelled by accusations and counter-accusations over issues bothering around song theft and copyright infringement. Blackface has been accusing 2Baba of using songs he wrote while the group was still together and used them without giving him credits or paying compensation.
According to Blackface, he wrote the lyrics to 2Baba’s most popular hit single ‘African Queen’ and ‘Let Somebody Love You’.
The ‘Hard Life’ singer made the latest situation on the matter known through an Instagram post saying that 2Baba was suing him and claiming that he (Blackface) didn’t write the songs”
The summons which was initiated Lagos High Court Ikeja on the 28th of February 2018 and served to Blackface on the 4th of April, had 2Baba and Now Musik Boss Efe Omorogbe referred to as ‘Complainants’.
Efforts from NET to get reactions from the camp of 2Baba and Now Musik was not successful as at the time of publishing this story as Mr Efe Omorogbe did not answer calls placed to him.
