R&B pop star Beyonce was forced to cut short her performance on a TV special last week, after she began to lose her voice.
The chart-topping singer who was at ITV Studios for a feature presentation titled ‘A Night With Beyoncé’ on Thursday, July 14, 2011 began to lose her voice halfway through after performing three of her hit songs ‘Crazy In Love’, ‘Halo’ and ‘Irreplaceable’ but she decided to stop.
Beyonce who couldn’t go on any longer apologized to the audience and encouraged them to sing the chorus to ‘Countdown’, the single off her latest album ‘4’ before apologizing and blaming her poor voice on ‘lack of rest’. She then left the stage.
Her latest album ‘4’ debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 310,000 copies in its first week.
