On Monday, May 7, 2012, the red carpet of the annual Met gala, played host to music, movies and fashion celebrities as each shone in different dresses and costumes. Well, except Beyonce Knowles and designer, Marc Jacobs.
While Beyonce was crucified for choosing an attire that bared too much, Marc was nailed for showing up in what was assumed the craziest male outfit, a long sheer shirt with a pair of white shorts.
Meanwhile, Beyonce’s dress was a Givenchy couture black dramatic confection gown. The see-through dress came in with lots of sequins, feathers, ruffles and an unnecessary long train which she constantly needed help with. The dress was also condemned for being too lingerie-like and for exposing so much, even her bum considering the fact that she just gave birth.
At the last 2011 edition, the same ‘fate befell’ her when she showed up in a tight vinyl dress which disrupted her movements while the event lasted.
