- It’s been one week since BBNaija Shine Ya Eye began, and what a scintillating seven days it has been.
After the grand two-day entrance of the housemates, many surprises awaited us, and we also admired how quickly the housemates formed friendship bonds. Let’s run down all that happened in the first seven days.
Peace Wins Head of House Challenge
The Head of House (HoH) Challenge was a tight competition as it was the first of the show. After seeing the new and improved Head of House lounge, everyone was eager to win the challenge set up with various tasks reminding the housemates of their childhood like blowing up balloons, hopping on one foot and more. Finishing the highest at step 16, Peace became the first HoH and picked Yousef as her Deputy.
The Hunt For The Wildcards
They say the best place to hide something is in plain sight, and it seems true. With the announcement that two housemates were wildcards, the game began to sniff them out. The housemates asked questions and investigated each other, but they seem no closer to guessing who they are. Will they be successful? We’ll find out on Sunday.
Musical Theatre Was A Success
The housemates aced their first Abeg wager task, creating a musical theatre play to portray the various cultures in Nigeria. Under the guidance of the director, Sammie, the housemates executed a fantastic performance that had Biggie questioning if a veteran actor had snuck in. Liquorose and Whitemoney delivered award-worthy performances.
Friendships That Are Worth It
From Sammie and Angel to Whitemoney and Maria, we’re finding friendships in every corner of the house. Now, we don’t know if these friendships will lead to something more, but it’s only the first week; who knows what could happen.
Party Like Never Before
The first Saturday party of the season set a standard for future parties. The house let loose and showed us all the dance moves they’d be hinting at since the beginning of the show. DJ Big N made sure the housemates had a blast as much as we enjoyed watching them.
