Setting the lead with a high score of 26, Boma succeeded Peace as the next Head of House for this season.
Tonight’s game was themed around the game of balls, and the housemates had to overcome tasks of throwing a certain number of brightly coloured balls into different baskets.
Saga, who had the honour of using the remodelled dice and dice rolling machine first, finished at step 8. Angel and Whitemoney, who took their turns next, only got as far as step 5 and 6, respectively. Nini could have finished on 12 if she was faster, but as it was, she finished on 6.
Sammie’s basketball skills couldn’t save him when he landed in step 4, and for Jackie B, the bottle of water at step 7 was just too big to conquer. Yerins gave us a wow moment when he went all the way to 10, making him the new lead till Niyi made some even bigger moves and landed on step 15.
For Tega, Jaypaul, Princess and Pere, the start position was all they could experience as the dice did not let them through on time. Arin, Liquorose and Yousef gave it a good game but went as far as 7. The other housemates all tried their best but didn’t defeat the standing record.
Then Boma came along, finishing his tasks quickly to gracefully soar to step 26, setting a new highest record for the HoH games this season and becoming the first male Head of House.
After almost 40 minutes of deliberation, he decided on Jackie B as his deputy. In a shocking twist during the nominations, Boma used his veto power to save Jaypaul from possible eviction by replacing him with Yousef.
