Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) 2020 winner, Lekan ‘Laycon’ Agbelesebioba, has been tapped as one of the music artistes that will be performing at the grand finale of BBNaija Season 6 ‘Shina Ya Eye’ on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 7 pm.
DStv Nigeria and the 27-year-old artiste announced the news on Instagram on Sunday.
Laycon posted the announcement flier on his Instagram page with the caption, “7 pm tonight #BBNaija finale… tune in to catch the iCON live!.”
DStv Nigeria also posted the same image with the caption “Wagwan! Look who’s coming through! The King of icons @itslaycon.”
Laycon joins a lineup of artistes that include Made Kuti, Lojay, Ajebo Hustlers, and Avala that would headline the much-anticipated finale show, which will air live on DStv channel 198, GOtv channel 29 and Showmax.
The rapper, who was not a known singer until he came on the reality show in 2020, became an industry sensation after his hit song ‘Fierce’ went viral in the BBNaija house.
Since winning the season 5 edition of the reality show last year, he has gone on to become a superstar and has been moving his music career forward.
After 70 days in the house, BBNaija housemates – Angel, Cross, Emmanuel, Liquorose, Pere and Whitemoney, are the six finalists battling for this season’s grand prize.
The winner of this season’s BBNaija show will receive ₦90 million grand prize which includes a ₦30 million cash prize, cash in an Abeg digital wallet, bitcoins courtesy of Patricia, a two-bedroom apartment courtesy of RevolutionPlus Property, a top of the range SUV from a Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors and a trip for two packaged by Travelbeta.
